Even though there is an easy solution to having competition, implementing a robust marketing campaign can actually be quite difficult and hurt your brand if done incorrectly. Take, for example, Grubhub’s latest food promotion disaster. Back in May 2022, Grubhub launched a promotional campaign in New York City, offering “free lunch” via a promotion code, which was valid between
